We first heard about Jeep’s “Trailhawk” name with the recently redesigned generation of the Jeep Cherokee. Then it was available on the Jeep Renegade, and now the Jeep Grand Cherokee! Doesn’t it look good?!
As “the most capable factory-produced Grand Cherokee ever,” this Jeep offers a more unique and rugged appearance, with many added functional features that increase off-road 4×4 capability.
We really like this SUV!
Grand Cherokee Trailhawk models are equipped with a long list of standard off-road capability features including:
- Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II 4×4 System
- A specially modified version of Grand Cherokee’s Quadra-Lift air suspension
- Provides improved articulation and total suspension travel
- Electronic Limited Slip Differential – ELSD – for all powertrains
- Selec-Speed Control with Hill Ascent Control
- Skid plates
- Trailhawk specific anti-glare hood decal
The exterior of Trailhawk Jeep Grand Cherokee shares the same front fascia and seven-slot Jeep grille that debuted on the 75th Anniversary edition Grand Cherokee, Trailhawk-signature red tow hooks in the rear and front, standard 18-inch (or optional 20-inch) Goodyear Adventure off-road tires with Kevlar reinforcement, brand new Trail Rated/Trailhawk badges, and a roof rack with grey accents or optional Mopar rock rails.
Available exterior paint colors for the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk are Redline Red, Billet Silver, Bright White, Rhino, Granite Crystal, Velvet Red, and Diamond Black.
Slip inside the Trailhawk Grand Cherokee to enjoy a luxurious driving experience. Grand Cherokee Trailhawk models feature a unique black interior with leather and suede performance and comfort focused seats with red accent stitching, brushed Piano Black accents, gun-metal finish for all painted interior features, and a Trailhawk badge on the steering wheel.
We can’t forget to mention the additional red accent stitching on the doors and console. The Trailhawk Grand Cherokee’s standard 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen includes updated off-road pages that show wheel articulation, as well as more 4×4 capability, like Selec-Terrain modes and suspension height.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk will be available later this summer and will be the sixth model for the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup, including Laredo, Limited, Overland, Summit, and SRT.
We can’t wait!
