Jeep | 75 Years of History

“Adventure is a part of the DNA of every Jeep Brand vehicle ever built and as long as curiosity drives man to explore the edges of heaven and earth, the Jeep Brand will continue to inspire him to go beyond.” – Mike Manley, President and CEO of Jeep Brand

100% unique. Full of character and capability. All-American SUV. Much more could be said about Jeep vehicles to honor the 75th year of Jeep production, but we figured this was a good start!

In the year 1941, the original Jeep known as “Willys MB Jeeps,” went into production for the specific purpose of military use, becoming the primary light-weight 4WD vehicle, or “light reconnaissance vehicle, for the United States Army and our allies during World War II.

The first models available for civilians weren’t available until 1945, and are credited for inspiring many other SUVs.

We are so thankful that Jeeps were made available for everyone, as we cannot imagine the modern car industry without these one-of-a-kind SUVs!
